Administration of Oxygen Therapy Level 3

This course offers additional knowledge to First Aiders who have access to Oxygen therapy equipment in their place of work. People wishing to enhance their current level of First Aid training would also benefit from this course.

The course covers:

• Benefits of Oxygen therapy
• Indications for its use
• Contraindications (when not to use it)
• Dangers of using compressed gas
• Use, storage and handling
• Checks
• When Oxygen is required
• Practical Training

This is a 6 hour course.

Successful students will receive a Level 3 Administration of Oxygen Therapy certificate on completion of the course. This is valid for 3 years.
